Delightful restful stay at Rosco House
Reviewed on Wednesday, April 29, 2015
This place is located above the garage adjacent to the main bungalow. The owners live part-time in the main house. The view from this ups stairs location is magnificent of the intercoastal waterway. The house is like an art gallery. There is art on virtually every wall. I don't think you could find room for another piece. The kitchen area it was adequate for our needs but does not have an oven and only as a countertop hotplate. Barbara and Norman of the owners were delightful although they were only there the first night and morning of our stay. They gave us several suggestions on local restaurants and sites. This was a couples retreat for my wife and I and was perfect. It may not be a good place for small children.

My husband and I spent a week at this charming retreat in a restful location overlooking the Intercoastal waterway. The space is ideal for a couple or possibly a couple with one older child, but is not suitable for families with small children. The decor is eclectic and fun, as were our wonderful hosts, Norman and Barbara..while not always on the property, they were extremely hospitable throughout our stay. The cooking facilities are slightly limited but we managed perfectly well...and you would need to bring your own condiments etc. Overall, it was a delightful experience and we cannot wait to return next year.
