Euclid Home, 3 Bedrooms, Private Heated Pool, WiFi, Sleeps 8
Located in a laid-back residential area, pet-friendly Euclid Home is ideal for a family vacation—not least because of its enclosed lanai, complete with a heated pool, a spa, and a dining area. The kids can splash about while you luxuriate in the hot tub or laze on a poolside chaise. Late at night, once they’re asleep, you and your sweetheart can enjoy a romantic moonlit swim. Best of all, you don’t have to share the pool with anyone else—that’s a major benefit of staying in a house rather than a hotel or a condo complex.
Indoors, Euclid Home features a huge great room, with multiple well-cushioned sofas so that everyone can stretch out while spending time together. As comfortable as those couches are, the 2 roomy recliners will probably be the seats everyone will race to claim. Once you sink into them you may never want to get back up! Fortunately there’s a new HDTV with cable to keep you entertained as you relax, along with free WiFi.
In addition to the lanai’s dining area, Euclid Home has an indoor dining room, with a table that seats 6. Bring your board games so that after the dishes are cleared off you can follow your family dinner with a family game night. The spacious kitchen has all the appliances, cookware, tableware, and counter space you’ll need to cook your most ambitious dishes. And even if you eat most of your meals out (there are numerous restaurants nearby, specializing in everything from sushi to Italian), you’ll love having a refrigerator to keep milk and juice boxes cold and a blender for whipping up smoothies in the morning and margaritas at night. If you reel in some snapper or flounder while on a charter or at the Venice Fishing Pier, you can cook it up on the outdoor charcoal grill.
Euclid Home can sleep up to 8 people—and a dog or 2 as well. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, the 2nd bedroom a queen, and the 3rd a pair of twin beds. Should you have additional guests, one of the sofas in the living area opens into a bed for 2. You’ll arrive to find the beds beautifully made up, plenty of clean towels in both bathrooms, and extra bedding ready and waiting—no need for you to bring your own linens from home. In fact, because Euclid Home has its own washer and dryer, you can pack lighter than usual.
Other features include a 2-car garage, so you can keep your vehicle out of the sun, and a fenced-in backyard landscaped with palm and fruit trees. The yard will come in especially handy if your pooch is vacationing with you. Of course, you’ll want to bring Fido to Brohard Paw Park as well; it’s a fenced-in dog park with access to the only beach in the county where canines are allowed.
Euclid Home is just 10 blocks from Manasota Key Beach. Generally uncrowded, its white sands are rich with shark’s teeth. When you’re not beachcombing you can swim, paddleboard, canoe, kayak, or parasail in the sparkling Gulf of Mexico. For more outdoor fun, bike or walk along the 5-mile Venetian Waterway Park, which flanks the famed Intracoastal Waterway, or hit one of the nearby golf courses. For something different altogether, head to downtown’s Historic Venice District, just a 15-minute drive away. The oak- and palm-lined streets are home to myriad artisan shops, art galleries, and restaurants. Even though Euclid Home has a 1-week minimum stay, you’ll never be bored.
If your ideal home away from home includes a private pool, a spa, and plenty of comfortable space to hang out with family and friends, Euclid Home is the Florida getaway for you. So book your stay today, pack your swimsuit and sunscreen, and get ready to make your dream vacation a reality.

A Wonderful Vacation

The only thing I would have changed was the pool. I would remove the metal roof on the patio and replace it with a material that would allow our cell phones to work. They were no good to us there because we had no reception.

My husband and I, along with our two faithful canines, had a great time. In spite of a cold pool when we arrived and the discovery that the spa was not heated or working, we had a great time. There was plenty of silverware, dishes, utensils and cookware. The place was immaculate and nicely decorated. We felt at home and enjoyed the South Venice area immensely. As a last minute renter, we were very pleased.

Great location for us. Very nice property. Hope to return in the Autumn of 2011.
Great House, good location, nice furnishings, ample space for entertaining.

Just a note regarding the well water & septic system. This water system is as good as it is able to be, as this area of South Venice has no city water/sewer systems, thus each property has their own well/septic tank. Okay for bathing, laundry, pool, etc. but, we preferred to purchase bottled water for drinking. We plan to return to this property in 2011.
Well suited to my tastes and needs

I felt at home right away. The water quality problem and the internet connection problem were handled well and quickly. Unless you want to be right by the beach, this is an excellent choice.

We brought two dogs along on our vacation and found this property to be most accomodating for pets. Beds are great, kitchen very complete, two car garage a real bonus. Exterior landscaping badly needs refreshing. Property manager Dennis is a gem...courteous, prompt, helpful, friendly.
