This unit is on the south end of the property which made it quiet and with not a lot of traffic. We used the grills nearly every night to cook on, great amenity to offer guests. Our condo was roomy and clean. I always love having a washer and dryer in the unit so I don't have to take dirty laundry home. It was a short walk to the beach. My husband and I went fishing almost everyday and we caught lots of saltwater catfish and some silver fish (we disagree on what we think they were. the pool was clean and a good size.
The only issues I had with rental company was: On my email from VRP my check in time was 1pm but according to Lahaina check in wasn't until 4pm. this REALL SUCKED after being on the road for over 16 hours and being told we had to wait for another 2 or 3 hours.
Cons = There were TONS of jet skis in the water near the beach. It was constant, every day ALL day. I tried a few times to get a count and it was more then 25 jet skis in less than 5 minutes every time I counted. They appeared to be oblivious to people swimming in the water and boats in the area.
Activities = we went on a guided kayak fishing trip, parasailing, went on a walking haunted history tour in downtown Fort Myers, kayaked through estuary at Lover's Key state park, saw lots of manatees and an alligator.
South Beach grille, atmosphere great, food = o.k, WAY OVERPRICED.
Nervous Nellie's = went for dessert and drinks. Dessert was YUMMY but again way OVERPRIECED. For 2 desserts and 4 drinks it was nearly $50.
Ford's Garage = MUST DO. We ate outside. great atmosphere, good food, not overpriced.
Mango Rita's in times square = Good atmosphere, good food, WAY OVERPRICED.

We had a wonderful time. The condo had everything we needed. I took my 90 yr. old mother and she was very comfortable. It is very close to a lot of interesting places and some great eateries.
